According to latest reports, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have set aside a mouth-dropping $10 million for their 1-year-old daughter to receive when she hits drinking age 21.

The Nigerian Defence Headquarters has confirmed that an entire battalion of soldiers fled the town of Mubi in Adamawa State earlier today in response to an attack by “insignificant” Boko Haram militants, but that an investigation is going on to establish why.
It was reported on Oct. 29th today, that the town had fallen to the militants and took over the army headquarters of the 234 battalion in the town

IS no more news that The Speaker of Nigeria's House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, has formally defected from the People's Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressive Party, APC. The speaker made the announcement at exactly 12.24pm today October 28th during the plenary session of the House.
In a short speech, the speaker said his defection was born out of the yearning of his people in Sokoto state. There are speculations that he's planning to contest for governor of Sokoto State. The House has adjourned seating till December 3rd.
In a later reaction from the The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has asked Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, who formally defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) today, to resign his position as Speaker of the House of Representatives.

A 15-year-old girl, who was abducted by Boko Haram and forcibly married to one of its commanders in a camp in the Sambisa Forest, Borno State said "He soon began to threaten me with a knife to have sex with him and when I refused, he brought out his gun, warning that he would kill me if I shouted.

Jack Bruce is Dead, Cream Singer Dies at 71 ...

Jack Bruce who sang some of Cream's biggest hit songs has died at the age of 71.

The singer/bass player's family revealed the news on his website Saturday morning ..."He has been sick since January and died of Liver disease" Family revealed.

Bruce sang lead vocals on classic Cream songs like "Sunshine of Your Love" and "White Room."

The group also included Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker ... and they were all inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.

Bruce was considered one of the best bass players of all time.

Thousands of APC members defied Friday’s hot, scorching sun to cheer Akinwunmi Ambode as he announced his intention to run for governor in Lagos in 2015.

Inside a capacity filled Onikan Stadium, in Lagos island, members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in colourful attires waved brooms and gyrated to loud music belching out from giant loudspeakers.

“The presence of thousands of supporters today is an attestation of the state-wide consultations that we commenced since last year,” said Mr. Ambode, 51, reading from a prepared speech.

“The acceptance and popularity of my candidacy, the great turnout and the fantastic support we have received from every corner of the State and beyond, from all sectors and various religious persuasions confirm that this is a divine moment in the history of Lagos State.
