The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje, on Thursday, tasked the state government to immediately pay striking medical doctors in the state.
Agbaje was reacting to the warning strike embarked upon by doctors on Lagos State payroll.

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, Thursday said that the “secret trip” made by the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) to the United Kingdom has shown that his party leaders were covering up his true health status for their selfish gains. President Jonathan to host media chat on Wednesday

The Presidency has announced that President Goodluck Jonathan will tomorrow, Wednesday, host “a special edition” of the presidential media chat.
Disclosing this in a statement issued on Tuesday, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, said Jonathan will, during the programme, answer questions on national issues, adding that the programme will be broadcast live on radio and television stations.

APC has alleged that some people suspected to be agents of PDP have begun buying PVC's in the wake of the recent postponement of elections. In a statement in Lagos On Tuesday by its National Publicity sec. Alhaji Lai Mohammed. The party said a company, Agro-Allied communities service Nigeria LTD, has been formed ostensibly to provide N50,000 each to 'empower' women

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the military high command of being in a dangerous alliance with the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to subvert the democratic will of the people. Addressing a news conference in Abuja, the APC Chairman, John Oyegun, also accused the PDP of planning with the military to intimidate voters in APC states to rig elections in favour of President Goodluck Jonathan.

FG Unveils Take-off Of High Speed Train From Abuja To Lagos

Umar made this disclosure at the public presentation of a book, “Showcasing Goodluck Jonathan’s Monumental Strides: A Third Party Perspective,” authored by the Director-General of Citizens Network For Peace and Development in Nigeria, Mr. Dressmann Preye.
According to Umar who also said the Abuja-Kaduna rail project would commence full operation next month, the federal government equally carried out a number of feasibility studies with the plan to construct more standard gauge lines across the country.

FG says female bombers planning to hit polling booths during election

Speaking to newsmen in Abuja today, the DG of the National Orientation Agency and Coordination of the National Information Center, Mr Mike Omeri, said they got intelligence report that female suicide bombers are planning to attack polling booths during Feb. election

The Council of State meeting has officially ended with members resolving not to postpone the 2015 general election scheduled for Feb. 14th.

The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has declared that it did offer a bribe of N6bn to some Christian leaders for the purpose of helping President Goodluck Jonathan win the February 14 presidential election. The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Olisa Metuh, stated this at a press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday.

Gov Rotimi Amaechi, who is also the DG of the APC campaign organization has accused the PDP of paying some Christian clerics N6billion to campaign againts the APC and its presidential candidate, Gen Buhari. Amaechi made the allegation during the state's APC governorship candidate, Dr Dakuku Adol Peterside's campaign in Emohua local government area of Rivers State today.

He celebrated by kissing his daughter Amanda on the lips after his team won the NFL Super Bowl last night. Most people thought the kiss was too intimate and too weird.
