Abacha Loot: Nigeria FG to recover additional $750 million

The Federal Government yesterday said that it would soon embark on the recovery of additional $750 million said to be “Abacha loot” yet pending. The Attorney-General of the Federation, AGF, and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami disclosed this during an interactive session with the House of Representatives Committee on Justice in Abuja.The Minister further stated that his ministry was aiming at recovering on behalf of the Federal Government £6.9 million said to have been misappropriated by a former governor of Delta State, James Ibori.

Aregbesola tells Fayose: Accept the fact that PDP is dead

The Governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on Tuesday advised his Ekiti state counterpart, Dr. Ayodele Fayose to accept that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is dead politically.‎Aregbesola stated this when his Fayose paid him a courtesy call at the Government House in Osogbo.

The wealth of the richest 62 people has risen by 44 percent since 2010, while the wealth of the poorest 3.5 billion fell 41 percent, Oxfam said in a report released ahead of the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

Republican Presidential Front-runner and American Billionaire, Donald Trump has threatened to evacuate Nigerians from America once he becomes President of the United State of America (USA).

Trump issued the threat on Sunday during a rally held at Wichita, Kansas, claiming that: “Nigerians and Mexicans have taken all the jobs meant for honest hard working Americans.”
