SAD!!! Young Woman Electrocuted in Hotel Room on Her Birthday

A 24 year old Funke Balogun, National Diploma II student of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), was allegedly electrocuted in a hotel bathroom owned by her boyfriend Abolade Adetunji's mother at 30, Balogun Street, Oshodi in Lagos on Sunday December 27th.
According to a report by the Nation, Funke who is a mother of one, was in a relationship with Abolade who just passed from NYSC. According to Funmi, the younger sister of the deceased, Abolade came to pick her sister at their residence on Saturday around 11pm.

Africans Are Lazy Fools, Only Good At Lovemaking And Thuggery – Donald Trump

The United States’ business magnate, Donald Trump has expressed displeasure for Africans by referring to them as lazy fools only good at eating, lovemaking and thuggery.
Trump is also the republican Presidential torch bearer promised to deport all Kenya origin, Africans including president Barrack Obama as he illuminated how he plans to reconstruct America and restore its lost glory.

Newly crowned Ooni of Ife Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi has promised that a new Yoruba nation where youth empowerment is the focus will emerge during his tenure. Ogunwusi’s coronation is coming five months after the demise of Oba Okunade Sijuwade, who passed on at 85. The new Ooni is the 51st Ooni to ascend the throne, and his coronation came exactly 35 years and one day after the immediate-past Ooni, Oba Sijuade was presented the staff of office.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has called for a halt to Muslims entering the US, in the wake of the deadly California shootings.
In a campaign statement, he said a "total and complete" shutdown should remain until the US authorities "can figure out" Muslim attitudes to the US. At a rally in South Carolina hours later, frontrunner Mr Trump repeated the pledge, to loud cheers.

Kogi Election: Collation Of Results Underway In Lokoja

The collation of results of the governorship election from across most parts of Kogi State has commenced in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital. This has gone according to the pronouncement of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to commence the exercise on Sunday morning.
Returning officers have filed in the results from each of the 21 local government areas of the state and the Resident Electoral Commissioners, journalists, party agents, observers and other stakeholders are also present at the INEC collation centre in Lokoja, the state capital.

No going back on Local Govt. Elections - Fayose

Gov. Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State on Sunday vowed that no circumstances would make him shift grounds on his plans to hold local government elections in the state on Dec. 19.The governor made the declaration at a ceremony organised to mark his 55th birthday in Ado-Ekiti. Fayose said that threats of boycott by any political party would not make him to jettison his plans to conduct the local government polls on that day.

Sanusi tells Diezani: You are a liar

The former Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN governor and Emir of Kano, Mohammed Lamido Sanusi has said the embattled former petroleum resources minister, Diezani Allison-Madueke is “lying” over claim that he (Sanusi) came to lobby her for help over his interest in African Development Bank, AfDB presidency but came up with $20bn missing oil fund allegation because he lost out in getting the job.
Sanusi, speaking with Sunday Telegraph, said Diezani, battling breast cancer, was being economical with the truth in her interview with thebossnewspaper.com on his interest and how he lost the opportunity to head the continental financial institution.

The only Survivor of a Gory Accident along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

An accident occurred along Lagos-Ibadan express way in a J5 vehicle said to be coming from Lagos. The little boy pictured above is the only survivor. The accident happened last week Thursday. The boy have never spoken till date, he only responds to food and treatment. Everyone is dead except him, he had a bang on his head, could not talk 4 to 6 days now. No plate number, no infomation or identification was recovered from the car as it get completely burned with only the boy as survivor, and nothing could be recovered from him.
