I Have No Governorship Ambition - Kachikwu

A Group has come out to deny Dr. Ibe Kachikwu's governorship ambition.. The group said it was not the first time the issue was being deliberately pushed out to test the waters.
The Conscience of the Niger (TCN) has warned those trying to discredit the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, by insinuating that he was interested in an elective office in 2019, to desist before they incur the wrath of God.
In a statement by its leader, Mr. Mitai Okeroghene, the group said it was not the first time the issue was being deliberately pushed out to test the waters.

ASUU Embarks On Indefinite Nationwide Strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) says it is prepared to embark on an indefinite nationwide industrial action.
The final decision to commence the nationwide strike would be reached at a meeting of the union on Monday in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
However, the decision was disclosed in a statement signed on August 12 by the ASUU President, Biodun Ogunyemi, after a series of discussions with the government.
