President Muhammadu Buhari had written to the Senate asking for approval to appoint 15 Special Advisers. The Senate gave its approval in the course of the plenary session it held today. In the letter to the President of the Senate David Mark, which was read on the floor of the Upper Chamber, President Buhari stated that the appointment will enable him to do his work as the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
