According to English newspaper the Mirror, the Everton striker was stopped by police near his home in Chesire, England after a night out on Thursday.
It is not known whether the reported arrest will affect his immediate playing future with Everton, as the Premier League is currently on an international break.
Rooney is just a human being,anyone can act the way he did and a big fish in the soccer world so he might just get away with it , no big deal!
