Zik’s first son, Chukwuma dies at 75

I actually don't know him before now but the news of his death all over the country is a news to tell he is a man of many words ,known more to be the son of our founding father and first President Of Nigeria Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe ....

The Owelle of Onitsha, Chief Chukwuma Bamidele Azikiwe died on Sunday at the age of 75. Chukwuma until his death was the Owelle of Onitsha,a traditional position he inherited from his late father in 1996. As Owelle, Chukwuma was sixth in the title ranking in Onitsha.
He had, in 1991, aspired to govern the old Anambra State and after that unsuccessful bid, he never contested for any other public office.
A family source hinted that he passed on at the Borommeo Hospital, Onitsha, a missionary hospital just a stone throw to his Inisi Onira country home,He had been battling protracted respiratory ailment for some years.
