2 Arrested Over Killing of Adeyemi College Student


The Ondo state Police command has confirmed the arrest of two middle aged men for allegedly using a female student of Adeyemi College of Education for money rituals.
They reportedly killed the lady in company one other young man, still on the ‘wanted’ list of the police.



The student was declared missing by her neighbors for some days after she left her residence and did not return.
One of her alleged kidnappers was however arrested in a robbery operation, during which it was discovered that he and other suspects were linked to the kidnap of the missing student.
This led to the arrest of one of the other suspects while third one is yet to be found.
While Speaking with our correspondent, Ondo state Police P.R.O, Femi Joseph said the mutilated and decomposing body of the student have been recovered by detectives who are also grilling the suspects.
Joseph said the suspects will be charged to court upon completion of investigation and called on parents, guardians and caregivers to always monitor the movement of the their wards.
“We have arrested two suspects in connection with the killing of the victim for money ritual.”
“The suspects confessed to mutilating the body of the victim for ritual purposes.
“Police investigation is however ongoing to apprehend the remaining fleeing suspect.” Joseph said.
