Henry blasts fans who abused Wenger

Thierry Henry has criticized the Arsenal fans who booed Arsene Wenger, after their 3-2 defeat at Stoke City in December. The club’s legend said he thought it was a joke when he initially heard it and called the action unnecessary
Arsenal lost at the Britannia after a horrendous first half, which saw them concede three goals and score none. Although the Gunners scored twice in the second half, it was not enough in the end and Wenger was subjected to insults as he and the team boarded a train home.
“I thought it was a joke when I first heard about it,” Henry told The Independent.
“You can be upset, I totally understand that but, when I saw what had happened at Stoke, it was totally unnecessary. Fans do have a voice but that was out of order.
