They travel around the world daily in search for a solution-kudos to their diplomatic passport-to a problem they created with their youthful exuberance. When they couldn't find one; they come back with immunity for themselves and their own; never in search of an answer for the masses-a sentimental and selfish act which has caused a lot of disunity among innocent and unsuspecting young folks.
We are busy fighting ourselves about who to support; some are calling themselves Transformation whence some believe in the chant of Change. 'Fela Anikulapo' (the prophetic musician) said it all "same old politician wey rule Nigeria before Obasanjo carry all of dem dey dere now". But this time, it is President Buhari (someone Fela called Animal in Crazy Man Skin).
We blame ourselves for the atmosphere and sinking sand they created which is working for them because they have learned to walk on it. Is Abacha the great looter from my generation? Or the beautiful criminal Alison and the goddess of vehicle who spent our common wealth for her comfort a product of my generation? Yet, the brilliant one out of them will jump on air and shout pooh;"This generation is a wasted generation". Some will be sincere enough to their conscience and accept their misdemeanor by saying "we have failed you"(I believe he is right).
It is high time we Nigeria youth believed in ourselves and stayed in unity toward one call and course of development and right governance for posterity because the future is here and its now.
