All Progressives Congress (APC) today reiterated its commitment to wrestle power from the Peoples Demoocratic Party (PDP) in the 2015 general election through people-oriented policies, which they believe will be capable of bringing much-desired change to millions of Nigerians. This was made known today by the chairman of the party, John Odigie Oyegun, at a rally tagged “Salvation Rally,” organized by the party and held at Eagle Square in Abuja with hundreds of the party's supporters in attendance.
The rally was also attended by party leadership and chieftains which include: Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), Ogbonaya Onu, Nasir El-Rufai , Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Rotimi Amaechi, Abdufatai Ahmed, and a host of others.

In his speech the chairman said that the party will sweep the ruling party even in the local government areas as a result of the ruling party's mismanagement of the insecurity crisis. He said that the policies of the party will give every Nigerian a sense of belonging and rescue the country from total collapse and destruction.

The rally was led by the chairman and other party stalwarts as they marched through the Federal Secretariat to Unity Fountain with various placards bearing anti-government inscriptions.

The rally is expected to continue tomorrow at the same venue
