Topic: Report On You. Matthew 5:16
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in Heaven". Please Matthew 5:13-16
Oftentimes when you attend a higher institution or leave a place of work, you are asked for a report on your abilities, character and qualities that you have. This is given by the person's employer or head of an academic institution where the person studied. Sometimes, a person is given opportunity in life not because they are qualified, but simply because of the report that has been written about them.
God first testimonial(report) about you is that you are a child of God. If you are truly born again, you are deemed a child of God. A child of God is special in many ways: he is a chosen one; he or she is a saint, a holy person and is seen as different. The only way we can prove that we are God
s children is by obeying Him and making His report about us to be seen by all as true. We must not disgrace or embarrass Jesus by living a way that is opposite of how He has described us.
Prayer Point: Lord, please forgive me wherever my report as your child has not given you praise
