Topic: Not A Victim. 1 Peter 5:8
" Be sober, be vigilant;because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion , walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. " Please read: 1 Peter 5:8-10
Every young or old believer must learn that the devil can never repent. Because of his, we must not joke about with the devil because already knows that his fate is sealed forever and he will do whatever it takes to bring God's children down. The devil already knows that God wants to do great things in your life, that your tomorrow will be alright and he is not happy about this so he will do everything to make sure you do not enjoy what God has planned for you. Do not take the devil for granted.
The good news however is that we have a God who can deal with the devil. It therefore follows that if God is on your side and you are on His side, there is nothing the enemy can possibly do to you because every effort he makes to get you will not succeed. The only way the enemy can get you is if you allow sin to come into your life thereby losing the covering and protection of God. The devil will try all he can to make you a victim of his evil works. god has a way of allowing every 'so-called' disappointment to work for your good if only you will allow Him to do so.
This was what God did for a lady whose intended fiance left her disappointed but unknown to her, the man she eventually married was a state governor and his body guard happened to be the fiance who disappointed her. The body guard was not serving under her. Great God !
