When Jesus was on earth.He was not interested in the earthly kingdom, as he had a greater mission. He was not interested in fame, glory and honour but was only concerned with seeking his father's glory and doing His will (John 4:34) Until today, there is still a wrong understanding of the term "Kingdom of God", as many understand this to mean that Jesus was called to sit on the physical throne of David. To explain this concept better, we must understand a number of things as follows:
Salvation is the first step that any person must take before they can have access to the benefits of the kingdom of God. I welcome you to the family of God. Also, it is important to note that seeking the kingdom of God as first priority is very important to God. According to Matthew 6:33, your personal needs must not be placed above the kingdom. Finally, the kingdom of God is not mere fun and entertainment. It starts with living right, followed by peace and then the joy of Holy Spirit. It is indeed a wonderful experience
